Motiv Venom Recoil

The Venom line is getting a power upgrade with the new Venom Recoil. This is the first asymmetric Venom ever released by MOTIV and it features the new Gear APG (Asymmetric Performance Gain) weight block.
Because the balance-hole rule has changed, MOTIV created the Gear APG weight block to give ball drillers more layout versatility when no balance-hole is used. It has an RG and maximum differential that are very similar to the original Gear core, but now features an intermediate .013 differential that is exactly one-third of the maximum .036 on the 15# model. We feel this amount of differential is ideal for the Venom Recoil because it is built for light-medium oil conditions.
The Coercion MFS Reactive cover technology used on the two-tone solid orange Venom Recoil offers a moderately smooth ball motion that blends the oil transition nicely and provides outstanding continuation. The Coercion MFS cover is tuned at the factory with a 4000 Grit LSS finish, but responds to surface adjustments very well.
Tournament bowlers will really appreciate having an asymmetric Venom Recoil option for light to medium oil conditions and casual bowlers will benefit from the huge value. The original Venom Shock has always provided incredible performance at an affordable price and the Venom Recoil is no different.

The Forge Fire is the latest in the medium-heavy oil Forge line from MOTIV and features new Infusion Hybrid Reactive cover stock for a much faster response to friction than the original Forge. This eye-catching low-RG/high-differential symmetrical ball is a must have for people looking to stand out and strike!
Infusion cover stock, recently introduced on the Ripcord, is an incredibly angular shell. Bowlers reported creating more angle with the Ripcord than any ball previously manufactured by MOTIV. Now, we are offering this cover technology with a much lower radius of gyration and a substantially higher differential using the Detonator core. The combination of an angular cover with a fast-spinning, high-differential core is a ball that can create angle in high concentrations of oil.
Speed dominant bowlers will be able to use the Forge Fire to create angle when friction begins to develop. Rev dominant bowlers will be able to create angle with the Forge Fire earlier in the block or in higher concentrations of oil than usual. Following the overwhelming response and competitive success of the Covert Tank, MOTIV is proud to present the next stage in microcell polymer technology, the Tank Blitz.
Featuring new Frixion+ Microcell Polymer cover stock, the Tank Blitz is earlier and smoother than the Covert Tank. To create this powerful new Frixion+ cover, MOTIV engineers boosted the oil absorption rate of the microcell polymer to handle higher concentrations of oil.
To complement the intent of Frixion+ cover stock, a low RG engine was needed in the Tank Blitz and the Gear core from the Venom Shock was the clear choice. With a lower differential, the Tank Blitz is capable of low flare layouts and produces a stronger, more traditional urethane shape, but with far better continuation.

Introducing the MOTIV Supra, a ball created specifically to push the limits. Combining an extreme, dual density core with a sideways pearl reactive cover, the Supra is capable of more down lane motion than any MOTIV ball ever created.
The Impulse weight block used in the Primal Rage has proven over the last 8 years that it is both reliable and great for creating sharp down lane motion. With the Supra, we modified the design and pushed the limit to create the new High Impulse weight block. It gives the 15# model a 2.57 RG and .050 differential. The high RG spins slowly through the front part of the lane, retaining energy, while the dual density weight block and high differential take over to produce a violent skid-flip backend reaction.
Infusion Pearl Reactive cover stock adds to the snap created down lane by the High Impulse weight block.
