Motiv Venom Recoil
The Venom line is getting a power upgrade with the new Venom Recoil. This is the first asymmetric Venom ever released by MOTIV and it features the new Gear APG (Asymmetric Performance Gain) weight block.
Because the balance-hole rule has changed, MOTIV created the Gear APG weight block to give ball drillers more layout versatility when no balance-hole is used. It has an RG and maximum differential that are very similar to the original Gear core, but now features an intermediate .013 differential that is exactly one-third of the maximum .036 on the 15# model. We feel this amount of differential is ideal for the Venom Recoil because it is built for light-medium oil conditions.
The Coercion MFS Reactive cover technology used on the two-tone solid orange Venom Recoil offers a moderately smooth ball motion that blends the oil transition nicely and provides outstanding continuation. The Coercion MFS cover is tuned at the factory with a 4000 Grit LSS finish, but responds to surface adjustments very well.
Tournament bowlers will really appreciate having an asymmetric Venom Recoil option for light to medium oil conditions and casual bowlers will benefit from the huge value. The original Venom Shock has always provided incredible performance at an affordable price and the Venom Recoil is no different.
